Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I was divorced in September of 2010. In the divorce settlement (easy no-fault), our few assets were divided 50/50. We owned a car jointly, which my ex-husband kept, though my name is still on the title along with his (I had to finance another car when I moved to a new city). Problem is, I got laid off a few months ago and got in dire financial straits. The car I jointly own is completely paid off, and I could really use half of the car's value. Can I legally force him to sell it and give me half the money?

Not unless your divorce documents stated so. Otherwise, you should get your name off of that vehicle.
