Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex-husband is currently mentally incompetent and his father is his power of attorney, does that change with anything relating to his children? Can I get a termination of parental rights with that?

It is not likely the Power of Attorney would be able to sign any document to terminate the parental rights of the father. However, you may still seek that relief from the court. It just takes time, energy and money.
