Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Feels Judge erred 5 months ago what can i do now?

I feel I got a raw deal after a long year trial. My ex and I were not married and we had a 1 year old son. I was always the only caretaker, a stay at home mom, after his abuse of me continued I left him. I shared visits of the baby with him, but on the first visit he refused to return our child to me, so I took him to court. He hired a lawyer, I had no funds. after the lawyer stalled for over a year, during which time the judge ordered 50/50 time sharing. then ex got married to a woman he just met who had 2 kids by 2 other baby daddies and she was fighting to get full custody of her kids. Judge though she would make a good step mom and help dad so he gave them 5 days a week time-sharing. Judge made comments like since i cried on the stand trying to defend myself that i was unstable, or since i smoked the baby was better off with that new mom, even tho dad smokes. etc. He told me I should be working to support the child, then that I should be a stay at home mom like the ex's new wife. I have since gotten married and have another child. My ex and his new wife have a new baby also. her caring for 4 children under 3 is very stressfull. i would still be a better mom for my firstborn, since the dad doesnt do any caretaking. help .

If there has been a substantial change in circumstances since the divorce you may be able to take you case back to court for a change of custody. I suggest that you contact my Orlando office if you need additional info or representation.
