Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hi,

I am from Florida and I have two boys who have been with there dad in the State of Texas since December of 2009. I have been tring to get them back but he will not let me, we maid a verbal agreement that he would give them back

but he has changed his mind. There birth certificates do not have his legal name or any other male but mine only there mom and I don not know the Law in the state of Texas or the state of Florida in regards to who the father

really is. My oldest son was born in the state of Florida and the other in the state of Texas. So I guess my question to you is can I go to the state of Texas and pick my boys up with an officer without his consent?

I would venture to say that he has custody of these children as you were probably served notice throught a newspaper of sorts that you had abandoned the children. I suggest you check court records in that county to see what has transpired. Secondly, you need to hire an attorney in Texas to retrieve your children.
