Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

harassed by ex-husband

My divorce became final just one week ago after a long delay. I live in Virginia, my ex in Florida. My ex-husband continues to call me at work, sometimes every five minutes if I am unable to answer the phone and leaves angry voice mails and emails on that line as well as my cell phone. I have told him twice (with witnesses) to stop using my work number. After these two attempts I told him (with witnesses) to never contact me again. However he has, and at my workplace nonetheless. Please tell me what rights and options I have in this situation. I will not have any more scenes like this.

Re: harassed by ex-husband

You should contact the phone company which provides the service for the phone(s) which your

former husband has been calling and report the incidents to them.

Their representatives will be able to advise you as to your next, most appropriate course of action.
