Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Is it illegal for a child's mother to make the presumed father pay child support when paternity has not yet been established? My sons mom is telling me I have to pay her $50 a week in order to have weekend visits with him. And that's not even overnight visits. The visits are only a few hrs, supervised by her. This seems illegal to me.

No that is not right. That said, you need to get a court order that establishes your rights as the father. Use of a lawyer is recommended in this case.

People are free to make stupid agreements. Hope you have not signed anything. Paternity case needs to be filed with a request for DNA testing. You probably need an attorney. .
