Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I recentlly filed for child support at the local child support offices in Florida. The child support office contacted me with information that the non-custodial parent was working and find his place of employment. My question is there a child support order by the courts exist and can I get back child support payments from the non-custodial parent?

Once the State Attorney's Office has served the non-custodial parent the petition for support, typically they will include a request for calculation of child support arrears owed to you by the non-custodial parent.
