Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

We are residents of the state of Florida. A state that does not recognize legal separation. We would like a legal separation due to keeping tricare insurance as I am 65 years. Are there any other states in which we could obtain a legal separation without being a resident there.

If you are worried about medical coverage, I don't see why your tricare would not remain in force if you remain married but live apart for a period of time. Check with Tricare, but I do not believe that spousal coverage is dependant upon sleeping in the same bed, much less the same house or apartment.
