Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Support
My brother is being suied to pay for the expenses (morgage, electric, clothes, etc) of his son's mother. He pays child support now. They have never been married and only lived together for seven months. Can she do this? What is the legal term for something like this?

Is there something more to this? Is she suing for birth-related expenses (that could be legitimate)? I don't get it. All he is responsible for is child support. There is no legal term for suing for any other expenses because there is no such cause of action.
