Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

Family and medical leave act

Due to bipolar disorder my doctor feels that it is in my best interest to remain on a specified shift when I am in a position that is normally a rotating shift. Does my employer have to comply with the doctors instructions? Other wise I experience severe panic attacks.

Probably not, unless your condition would qualify as a disability under the ADA. It is not a FMLA issue.
