Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

Is my pregnancy covered for the FMLA

I began working for a company in October 2008, and I am due to have my baby in June 2009, they are saying that I have to have been employed for 12 months in order to be elligible for the FMLA, and that my job is not guaranteed upon my return. Is this true? Is there nothing that holds my position while out on leave?

To be eligible for FMLA leave you must have worked for your employer for 12 months. Sorry for the bad news.
