Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida

flma

my employer advised me i needed a min of 120o working hrs per yr to qualify for FLMA. I remember reading somewhere where the min hrs of work per yr was only 1000 hrs. please advise what the fed law requirement is. I am a p/t permanent worker and really needed to apply on behalf of my wife. if going forward , if i should ever drop below the min yearly hrs work (say only 950 hrs worked),would i have to surrender this benefit and reapply again..
