Legal Question in Medical Leave in Florida
harrassed by my employer
i am a single mother of a very sick child (chroinic asthma) im on fmla, but the dr. has filled out 3 sets of fmla papers for my job, since jan 09 & they tell me it has to be done every 6mos and the last set of papers were in feb 09. is this legal?

Generally speaking an employer is permitted to request proper documentation from an employee's physcian regarding FMLA eligibility and needs. Feel free to email me to further discuss the matter.

Sure -- they are entitled to proper and reasonable documentation that you still qualify. Every 6 months is mopre than reasonable.
