Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

my car under my parents posession

Back when i was 16 I was able to start a company and round up 12,000 dollars of my own money to purchase my first vehicle. Unfortunately, I put it under my parents name and also probably purchased it with one of their accounts. Now that I am 20 years old, the car has been taken away from me because of other family issues and i was wondering how i can fight this in a court system because technically i own the car even if my parents have the title.

Re: my car under my parents posession

You might have a claim for unjust enrichment, if you can prove that you paid the car off. But they can say you were doing your share of work for the family. Good luck!
