Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Early burial at Funeral home

Funeral home Stewart ent buried my mother at 10:00 even though all paperwork stated 11:00 and son to be present. I arrived at 10:30 with my aunt and my mother was buried.I contacted home office of funeral home and was promised by a v.p.they would call me back to resolve the problem. Never called.I contacted a Lawyer but,he is looking at a slam dunk case. Saying it's worth at $15,000/10,000. Which it might be if lawyer does nothing but contact Stewart via a letter.I think he is looking at a quick $4000/6,000 fee without evening trying.I have two pieces of paperwork on the funeral homes heading saying burial at 11:00 son to witness.I think it is worth more but, could not find any info on internet that might help me with the high or low value of this case.

Stewart has admitted a mistake making only a compromise in the way to resolve.Thank you Rick

Any attorney would have to know more facts and read funeral contract before researching comparative case values.
