Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

I have a friend who allowed me to open a credit card account in her name, now she is denying it and taking me to court how do I handle this, how can I prove she gave me permission and how can she prove she didn't? I have a case management conference on Sept 2nd, what should I expect

If she has an attorney, you do not want to attend that case management conference without a lawyer. An attorney can at least keep you on a level playing field, and get discovery scheduled and outline the issues for the court. A lot depends on how much she is suing you for. Did you run up a charge account in her name? You and your friend both have problems for fraudulently obtaining credit, especially if the debt wasn't paid. This is not a "do-it-yourself" situation.
