my mother is living on a property of an old friend whose wife died 3 yrs ago, he wants to insure my mother can stay on the property for 3 yrs after his death, he has one relative who does not like my mother, how can he insure she has the right to remain on the property as he wishes upon his death ?

There are a number of ways this can be accomplished. It could be done by deed (safest for your mom) or by will (not so good for your mom) or by other types of written contract. Please contact us if you would like to discuss options.
