Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Florida

Prevent unwanted guests

I have asked an individual nicely, but firmly not to come to my home and asked did he understand what I was asking of him and he did, but he continues to come by my home. He is a friend of my boyfriend's and my boyfriend has even asked him not to come by and he still does, do we have any legal recourse?

Re: Prevent unwanted guests

Yes, you have recourse. The very next time he comes by, call the police and have them issue a trespass warning, preferably while he is still there. Thereafter, should he come by again, he is subject to a charge of criminal trespass and arrest.
