Won Case in court Defendant has already gone over the time frame period of a year and know owes me $2040.00 plus 4.75% hired lawyer to fight this case Need help

Collecting a judgment is not easy. The value of the judgment, $2000, mitigates against any lawyer wanting to be involved as there is not a sufficient corpus to pay fees associated with the process. Do you know of any assets that the person or entity may have? You need to start there.Have you recorded a certified copy in any county where the debtor may own real estate? Have you docketed your judgment with the secretary of state's office?
