Compensation based on voting in election

My boss is making people vote, keeping track of those who vote and is using this information for employees review and raise considerations. Is this legal?

Vote on what? Technically, if your employer is basing employment decisions on who you vote for in a public election, it could be viewed as a violation of your 1st amendment rights.
