Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida
Salried employess being hired as contractors
I am a full time, salaried employee with my company. I recently began teaching an on-site fitness class for my company, which classifies me as a contracted employee. Does my company have legal reasons to not allow me to do both? I am being terminated from the contracted position.

They do not need a legal reason. Some companies just have a policy that their emplopyees should not take outside jobs which, technically, you contract position is.
