Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

Short /no notification of termination date.

After the 12 weeks of fmla, was terminated with only a few days notice of last day. Found out that DOT rules state I should not have been driving with this medical condition from the beginning but company and doctors ok'd me to drive and have been for the entire year, since i was not supposed to be driving anyway, do i have a case against the DOT doctor and/or the company? They have terminated me now and kept me in the dark as to when my fmla was up in the first place.also gave me 4days notice to get a stress test with cardiologist which usually takes weeks in advance to set up, and the termination date was the next week. I hope you can assist me with this situation. thx

Re: Short /no notification of termination date.

Although, you have not retained me to represent you, I suggest you consider bringing a wrongful termination lawsuit (FMLA/ADA) as soon as possible to avoid the statute of limitations preventing you from bringing a claim against your former employer. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
