Legal Question in Employment Law in Florida

At work I had a coughing spasm that caused me to faint. I fell and hit my head on the floorand got a big ole knot on my forehead (noting else). Per company reqirements I went to the company health svs location. They got some information from me and had me transported to the hospital emergency room. I was there 2.5 hours after my shift was supposed to end. My manager said that since the injury was not work related, he was not going to pay me overtime (but he would pay me the full 8 hour shift). I aslo told him that I did not get a lunch break since the injury happened before I could take it. He is refusing to pay that as well.

So theses are my questions: 1. Does he have to legally pay me the overtime? 2. Does he have to legally pay me for the missed lunch? 3. Since the injury was not work related and won't be covered under workmans comp, am i liable for the hospital bill, even though I was not given the option to decline going?

Unfortunately, you are responsible for the bill and your employer is not even responsible for 8 hour shift unless you are a salaried worker.
