Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

kicking someone not on the lease out of my condo

i have a friend that didnt have anywhere to stay while we are going to school, and i told him when he came he could stay for a couple months till he finds another place. He pays 1/3 of the rent and seems to have forgotten that i said only a couple of months. Hes starting to take over the house and cause me a lot of stress. How can I kick him out and how long do i have to wait

Tell him to leave. At the best he has a month to month verbal lease. Have a talk with him about moving out. Just be up front with him. He is your friend, so I would give him a decent period (short) time to find another place instead of just kicking him to the curbside.
