Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

What are the legal rights of someone letting another person use their property for storage?

I let my cousin store his belongings on my property, he agreed to pay as it was stored there in a verbal agreement. Several months have gone by and he has not made any attempt to pay nor even contact me. There was no written agreement of any kind.

Is all the stuff mine now? Or do I give back the stuff and sue for the storage rent?

You would need to give him his belongings and sue for the storage rental. Since this was a verbal agreement, I would try to get some proof (i.e. a recorded phone conversation, email, etc.) where he admits he was supposed to pay it.
