Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

I have rented and lived in a house where over a year ago a bad storm knocked down our fence. Now it's old and rotten and I let my landlord know. They refuse to fix it. We have tried to keep it up with other pieces of the fence. I have three kids and I don't find this safe. I just had a stray dog come into my back yard thankfully my son wasn't home at the time or outside. There is also a bob cat and 2 horses living right behind our house. What can we do
