Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Florida

Hello my name is Luis and I had a question about landlord responsibilities. Our apartment came under new managment about a year ago. Since then there has been no extermination for bugs and that has resulted to me and a neighbor having to throw our furniture away do to bed bugs just last month and now one of our vehicles is infested with roaches because it was parked next to the trash area and usually garbage would sit there about a week smelling. We contacted our landlords and they say it's not there problem to exterminate. Can I please get help resolving this issue.

I am surprised that the lease makes no mention of who is suppose to exterminate. Perhaps calling the health dept might get you some results.

Contact an attorney. Have your lease available so it can be reviewed. Do you know where the bed bugs started from? have you exterminated for them now?/ ?
