Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

I was seeing a ent doctor in the state of new jersey for having a few to many soar throats. In my visits he gave me nasal spray and antacid. I then mover to flordia saw another ent an sa soon as I open my mouth she said that my tonsil had to come out. I saw the new jersey dr three times over three months. the first visit to the flordia dr she wanted to remove them. As it turns out that there was cancer early stage. The jersey doctor gave me a note to provide to the Flordia dr. when he advised me to follow up. After I had the surgery the fl dr informed the jerseydr of the results. He had nerve to call an give me his could have should have an was line. To add insult to his neglect told me he would put me in his prays when he went to church that sunday. Would I have a case to sue.
