Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Florida

Healthcare. Physician malpractice case where case was settled in mediation. Now plaintiff going after the group practice where physician was employed because it has no corporate malpractice coverage. Asking for nuisance fee of $5K. Is there such a thing? Should this be paid to have them just "go away"?

If a release has been signed, it may already cover the practice group. If it does not, one would have to weigh all options to decide the best way to resolve the dispute. I would be happy to discuss with you. (561) 864 0007

Not sure what you are asking. Is there such a thing as nuisance value? yes. all depends on your posture and your position as to what is nuisance. The costs to litigate a case have to be factored in to determine when and at what amount settlement should occur. Consult with an experienced attorney to help you make the right decision for you.
