Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

My daughter's boyfriend was driving her car which we own. My daughter is 23. The boyfriend hit another car and left he scene. My wife and I did not give permission for him to drive the car. Are we liable for the damages?

Probably. You said it was your daugher's car and she obviously gave permission to let her boyfriend drive the car even thought it is not in her name. Unless you reported the car stolen, you will be responsible. However, the boyfriend is also responsible and his insurance company needs to be contacted.
