dog killed at dog park

not going to court.. how much do I ask for besides what I paid for the dog? Pain and suffering?

I am sorry to hear about your dog. In short, it really depends on the circumstances, but you can ask for pain & suffering. Did you witness the incident? Think about what you think you deserve and make a list of the reasons why you deserve it. Best of luck to you.
