Florida statute of lim Pers Injury

What is the statute of limitations for an auto accident dated 01/30/2007 . Received comp for totalled veh, med pymts up to $10k PIP, but have continued health issues and bills yet to submit to auto ins co whose driver was at fault and fined / ticketed.

Four years from the date of the accident for an action against the tortfeasor (person that was at fault). It is best to consult counsel in regard to making a claim and the surrounding legal issues. Good Luck.

good afternoon: you have four years from the date of the crash to start a lawsuit in the state court system. If you have an automobile insurance policy that contains uninsured motorists coverage, you have five years from the date of the crash to sue your own insurance company. please contact me if you have any other specific questions. best wishes
