Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Florida Commercial Driver's License

I was in an accident with a 24 foot Commercial Box Truck back in 01/2007. The driver had a Class E driver's license. In order to drive a Commercial Truck in Flroida don't you need a CDL? Is there anything that can be done to the Company that put him behind the wheel?

Re: Florida Commercial Driver's License

Depends on whether you were injured or not. If so, you can sue them, however, most of the time the licensing is not relevant to whether the driver was operating the vehicle negligently or not. That will depend on the facts.
