Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

I was hit by a drunk driver with no Insurance and no Driver License

Some money was collected (other vehicles involved and my no fault Insurance)

Collected was $175,000.00 total as a courtesy my lawyer reduced his fee to

$50,00.00 from $58,333.33.

In addtion to the money paid to my Lawyer ($50,000.00) My insurance company paid Hourly fees in the amount of $7,500.00 to help with my legal fees

Is my lawyer intitled to this money or should it be returned to me?

My Lawyer has told me they are keeping the $7,500.00 its owed to them.

It depends on your agreement with him and whether the $50,000 was to be his total fee. If you didn't get it in writing, your claim wouild be difficult to prove.

You need to speak with your attorney regarding his fees. Ask for an accounting and review your retainer agreement.
