Legal Question in Personal Injury in Florida

Lawyer on contingency disclose expenses?

My lawyer is on contingency. I have to pay for the experts involved and xtra costs by the lawyer(zeroxing).Does my lawyer have to disclose the costs before we go to settle with the defense so I know what minimum amount I should settle for so I don't end up in debt?

My suggestion is to simply ask your attorney

to provide the cumulative expenses on your case.

The difficult area may be your medical bills, since

a doctor may be willing to be paid less than the full

amount. That isn't always true, however, so it isn't

wise to count on it.
