Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I went through a broker to rent my property. My tenants wants to renew their lease and I reached out to my broker to see if I should go through her. She wrote back a new lease and told me I have to pay her 8.33% commission. The same commission I had to pay for the orginial lease. I did sign a contract when we hired her to rent our house a year ago. I have not had any contact with the broker in a year. I absolutely can not afford to pay that nor do I believe I should have to since she has done nothing to earn that commission. What happens if I do not pay?

Unless you signed something with her or use her lease, I think you can avoid the fee.
