Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Landlord/Tenant issues month to month No lease

I have been renting for 3 1/2 years on a month to month basis with no lease. I paid 1st, last and deposit. Due to the landlord not doing any repairs, major and or minor (including broken a/c, sewage leaks, a/c leaks etc.) arguments caused an eviction from the landlord. I do not care to get the deposit back, she/he can keep it! My question is this: I do not intend on painting the house when I leave, can she/he cause any legal trouble etc. I f I do not? (I documented the unlivable conditions in a certified letter, the response was the eviction) Please help me, I am concerned and worried, yet they do not deserve any more of my time and money!

Unless you caused unusual damage you are not responsible to paint. If they should bring a claim against you contact me.
