Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

If somebody moves into an apartment with no lease or contract and deposit has to move after two months because they can't afford the rent, you let the Landlord know you can't pay the rent, can he go into your apartment and put your belongings out in the street? Tells you he will make it hard for them to ever find a job just to scare you. Can he do that. All the belongs taken by people and you are left with nothing. CAn we do anything about this?

He absolutely cannot do that. You can file a civil action against him. There are specific statutory provisions that protect the tenant from the landlord taken self-help action without following legal process. Check out Florida Statutes, Chapter 81 for more information, or contact an attorney.
