Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

I purchased a house in a 55+ community. Behind my home, on a canal, is a seawall. The seawall is NOT on my property, but rather on community property. I did not have anything to do with the installation of the seawall; however, it now needs repair and the community is saying I am responsible. Is this true?

I would doubt it, but would need to read your documents as to whether you assumed any responsibility.
