Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Florida

Real Estate Lein

I have won a judgement against a person. The document that is titled Agreed Order and Judgment has been filed in Broward County. The order states that I shall be permitted to record this Final Judgement and it shall then become a lien on the real estate the person currently owns. The document doesn't reference any address or legal description. Do I need to file any other documents to secure this lien? The attorney that handled this case is no longer practicing.

Re: Real Estate Lein

Nothing else need be filed. If he owns property in other counties you should file the judgment there also. The Broward County Clerk can help you with the paper work. Good luck. You may call or e mail me for further information.
