Legal Question in Traffic Law in Florida

driving while suspended

Hello,

i was ticketed by the polk county sheriffs office for driving while my license was suspended. The cop said he's sure they sent me a letter advising me it was. I never had received any such notice. Is this a ticket that has a mandatory jail sentence?

No. There is not a mandatory jail sentence. You should retain a good attorney whois familiar with the traffic courts in your county who can represent you and do their best to make sure that you do not go to jail.
