Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

A dog from Florida was bequeathed to our charity, in Pennsylvania, through a living trust written in Florida. The trustee did not release the dog to our charity for a year. While the dog was still in Florida, it bit someone. According to Florida law, who owned the dog at that time?
