Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My father passed away August 2010 in Florida where he lived. He married my mother and myself and my brother were born. Mother divorced him and moved us to New York. Later on my father had 3 more kids in Florida but did not marry again. My mother died in 2008 and my father died in August 2010. The daughter from the other woman turned in a will that I know was altered. It is typed and states that my father says he only has 3 living children and names the 3 in Florida. Is there legal reasons to contest that will?

Yes, there are potentially several issues. The top two are the issue that you believe the Will was altered. The second is that in Florida you can disinherit a child as long as it is your specific intention to do so. So if you are not even mentioned or unrecognized you may be able to contest the Will and receive a share.
