Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

I made a new will last year but I need to change one part of it. Can I do this by typing it out and give it to the lawyer that made out my will or must I re-do a new will?

You have to options to make the changes, you can execute a new will or have a codicil executed. Either way you go threw the same signing process.

You can execute a codicile or a new will to make the change. A codicile must be executed with the same formalities as the will.

You can make a codicil to the will. An attorney should not charge much to handle this for you. Or, you can do an entirely new will. Please feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance. Regards,
