Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

My mother passed away with no will and was the sole owner of a property in Jacksonville, FL. I am one of ten surviving children, no surviving spouse and the other nine children decided that I should put the house in my name. What do I need to do to get this done and have my name put on the deed?

The estate must go to probate. If you are appointed Personal Representative, you can then convey the property by deed.

A Probate Proceeding is required, and the family members have to eventually deed the property over to you. A lawyer will be required.
