The most common method to avoid probate is to set up a revocable trust. There are other methods as well, but any attorney would need to discuss your situation with you to be sure that they were advising you to take appropriate actions for your situation. seriously, you can avoid probate with a trust, sometimes If you don't have a lot, you can avoid it by owning proerty and assets jointly with another.
