Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Florida

Need for a will

My elderly mother lives with me and has nothng of much value (ie property, insurance, pension, etc.) except for a small bank account that she deposits her social security check into. I am POD on that account. My question is does she need a will if all she has is the meager amount I have mentioned. Will there be a probate of her estate if she does not have a will. I do have one other sibling and do not anticipate any problems on distribution of what money remains in the account upon her passing. When she was in a better financial circumstance she did have a living trust that included the same bank account, her residence, and a car; the car she gifted to a friend and her house has since been sold. Rather than make changes to this document to update it can she simply write Void on the document? (would it be every page, with a signature?) Thank you for your help

Re: Need for a will

The POD desigantion would have priortiy over any will. It does not look like she needs anything if the only asssets are teh POD account.
