last will

An old friend died in Port Richey, Fl. I live in Pa. How do I get a copy of her will. She told me at one time she was leaving something to me or my son. How can I get info on this?

Re: last will

If and when the will is deposited with the clerk of the circuit court in Pasco County (http://www.pascoclerk.com), it becomes public record. Anyone may then go to the clerk's office and look at it, or for $1 per page, they will make a copy for anyone. If it is never filed with the court, you would probably have to sue to require the holder to deposit it with the court.
