Legal Question in Workers Comp in Florida

medication contract broken

My doctor said that I broke the contract when I took a pain pill that he did not prescribe(I could not get a hold of him when I was out of meds and a friend gave me one of his because I was in extreme pain)

Can workmans comp drop my case because of it?

Re: medication contract broken

Your doctor can refuse to treat you if you didn't follow his rules. The WC carrier can do whatever they want. See a lawyer who is board certified in WC, and fast!
