I am a Volunteer Fire Fighter and a got into a wreck going to a call, we are under the city of tallahassee w/c once on a call, i've had 2 scopes done,i broke my tibial bone and a articular injury to the bone, dr. say i need knee replacement if 2nd scope does not help, to young for that,can i settle may case if so how much is it worth?OH i hit a train that had no cross bars on a wet sunny day,i was blind by the sun , have personal injury case to.Can i settle the w/c case and fight the other case?

Any case can be settled if the party against whom the action is filed will make an offer and you will accept it. Otherwise, no settlement can be reached. Yes, you can settle one part of the case and pursue the other. But there are pitfalls involved. It sounds to me like you need professional assistance. Consult a Florida Bar Board Certified workers' compensation lawyer or personal injury lawyer in your area.
